Holiday Park Rules

We ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests will be enjoyable. If any of these rules are breached, you may be required to leave the Holiday Park without refund.


12pm for camp sites and 2pm for accommodation.


By 10am for both camping and accommodation or further charges may apply.

Powered Sites

Campervans/caravans must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness and power leads must be a minimum of 10 metres.
Tents plugging into power can only use an approved and tested 'camping style' power cord (with 3 long round pins), at least 10m long, with a safety RCD. Please make sure you have your WoF documentation and your tested, tagged power cord available for us to check if asked.
Power cords must stay within the boundaries of your site. You cannot connect vans or tents on multiple sites to one power source.
Management reserves the right to unplug any connection that does not comply with regulations.
Generators are not permitted at any time.


Must provide own waste container. Chemical toilets must be emptied in the dump station provided opposite powered site 26 (top of Holiday Park).


Tents can only be erected on 'a site' – and not outside accommodation units.
Tents must not be joined together. There must be 1.5m between any 2 tents.


No parking of cars, boats or trailers outside of your site boundaries. This includes on the roadside, neighbouring sites and ALL green spaces.
Parking is allocated for all accommodation.
Limited storage is available by prior arrangement over Peak Season for a nominal fee, otherwise parking is outside of the Holiday Park grounds.


Vehicles to travel at walking pace only at all times. Please be mindful of children.


Reasonable behaviour is expected at all times – loud music, swearing, excessive drinking, and loud parties will not be tolerated. Consideration must be shown at all times to other guests. Management reserves the right to cancel a tenancy at any time without refund.


May ONLY be consumed, by those of legal drinking age, on your campsite or within your accommodation. Excessive drinking will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to cancel a tenancy at any time without refund.

Quiet Time

Quiet time is expected and appreciated between 10:30pm and 7:00am. Please be thoughtful of fellow guests at all times.


Outside of the Peak Summer Season, campers may request one of a limited number of a pet-friendly campsites. This must be arranged and agreed with the General Manager, prior to your arrival.

Unfortunately pets are NOT allowed in any of the accommodation in the Holiday Park to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. In the unlikely event we do find a breach of this rule, you may be charged extra cleaning fees and we will have to ask your pets to leave immediately.


Please notify reception of any breakages or damage to Holiday Park property or grounds. Management reserves the right to recover costs of damage or where extra cleaning is required. Facilities and BBQs must be left clean and tidy after use.


Smoking is not permitted inside any Holiday Park buildings or accommodation. Smoking is allowed away from any buildings, please consider your neighbours and the dry ground conditions as in many months of the year there is a complete fire ban. 


Parents will be held responsible for their children at all times. Please supervise your children in and around the Holiday Park and while they are using facilities. Swimming and spa pool rules apply, with an adult present at all times. 


Bike helmets are to be worn at all times by adults and children (this is New Zealand law). Adults, please supervise children on bikes, extra caution is needed as large caravans, campervans and trailers may be moving around the grounds.


All visitors please register at Reception on arrival. Registered guests are responsible for their visitors at all times. Management reserves the right to refuse entry when the Holiday Park is full. Visitors' vehicles are to be left outside the Holiday Park grounds. Please depart by 10pm.


Keep NZ beautiful – please use recycling and rubbish bins around the Holiday Park.
Please take your rubbish to the bins on the day of your departure.
