ALERT LEVELS

Mt Aspiring Holiday Park will remain open at all Covid-19 Alert Levels as we are an essential service.

ALERT LEVEL 1&2 | We are open for business with strict guidelines in place. All guests, staff, and visitors are required to scan or sign in on arrival. See below for the safety measures we have in place.

ALERT LEVEL 3&4 | We only remain open as an essential business for emergency accommodation and essential workers. All guests, staff, and visitors are required to scan or sign in on arrival. See below for the safety measures we have in place. We are still taking online and phone bookings. If you are staying with us and the NZ Government moves to an Alert Level 4, please contact reception to make arrangements to leave the Holiday Park early. In the event that you cannot leave within the government required time, we will do our best to accommodate you safely.

NZ GOVERNMENT COVID PROTECTION FRAMEWORK

We encourage all guests to be vaccinated before staying with us and we have supported our staff in getting vaccinated. At this time, our standard policy remains to accept all guests regardless of their vaccination status. However, this policy will be reviewed in response to any Government policy updates, mandates and the wishes of our guests. See the NZ Government Covid-19 Protection Framework for the latest information on Alert Levels and NZ Government Approved Vaccination Certificates. All updates to NZ Government Covid-19 mandates for our business will form part of the Terms & Conditions of all stays.

We are able to offer flexible Covid-19 related cancellation options for bookings made directly with us.

If there is a government-mandated travel restriction that impacts you during the following times:
Non-Peak Booking Period | You choose either a full refund or a full credit.
Peak Booking Period | You will receive a full credit to rebook at a later date.

Bookings made via third-party websites will be subject to their terms. Please contact them directly to find out more or to make changes.

SAFETY MEASURES

We have high standards and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all our guests, staff and visitors, with additional cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitisation. The following key measures are in
place and will be revised according to any NZ Ministry of Health Guidelines:

CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT | We can arrange this for you, please make arrangements with us at the time of your booking.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT | Please use the paywave machines or online payment methods.

QR CODE SCANNING | Scanning the QR code and registering all guests, and visitors, on arrival at Mt Aspiring Holiday Park is mandatory for contact tracing purposes. Please use the sanitisers provided.

SOCIAL DISTANCING | Please follow requests for social distancing and mask-wearing as determined by the alert levels throughout the duration of your stay.

HAND HYGIENE | Proper and frequent handwashing and the use of sanitisers will help combat the spread of any viruses.

GUEST ROOMS | We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with special attention paid to high-touch items.

SHARED SPACES | We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our shared spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, door handles, public bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, and room keys.

We kindly ask you to consider your fellow Holiday Park guests and our team by wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, using the sanitisers provided, disposing of all rubbish in the bins, and taking all your personal items with you.

POOLS | Will not be operational at Alert Levels 3 and 4.

BACK OF HOUSE | In the spaces where team members work “behind the scenes”, we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas.

WELLNESS | While we will do everything we can to ensure your stay with us is safe, we would kindly ask you to follow NZ Ministry of Health Guidelines and stay at home if:

● you are showing symptoms of COVID-19
● you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19
● you have visited a location of interest
● you have visited a Government COVID-19 MIQ within the last 14 day
